Thank you for sharing so many great links and your experience with long covid. I've been living with chronic migraine for about 3 years now and it's been one of the hardest periods of my life. I think it's really hard to understand chronic illness or pain until you've lived with it. And it's doubly frustrating when there's no clear path to healing. All that is to say, I sympathize with you and understand how hard it is to live with chronic illness. Sending healing vibes your way!
Agree - I could not have imagined how this would be like. It produces a certain kind of internal mental toughness (if it doesn't break you) and changes the person you are.
Very sorry to hear of your struggles with long covid. It is no joke. But if it's any help to you at all, I always enjoy reading your newsletter and blog, and have also read your latest book about sewing -- very helpful even to an old convent-taught sewist like me! I do hope that life gets better for you as spring draws close.
Been thinking about you a bunch, and wondering how you were doing, so it's been good to read this update! It's hard to know what to say, because I do hope you feel better! But I also know how slow and uncertain things can be with a chronic illness, so I hope for improvement but I also hope you're able to find little joys today.
I would not wish Long Covid on my worst enemy. I can only hope you can fully recover as quickly as possible. I know chronic illness is a multifaceted type of misery; I hope a cure will be available very soon.
Hi Liz, sorry to here you are still enduring Long Covid. If you’re a podcast listener you might be interested epidode 136 of This Podcast Will Kill You. These podcasts are well researched, thorough, informative and many include first hand experience. Cheers Kathryn

Many thanks for your kind words.
And do not say "Perhaps if you lost some weight?"
Or "put some on".

Thank you Lyndall, I've been thinking the same about you. If anyone gets it with chronic illness, I know you do.

Many thanks Lorraine; I would not wish it on my worst enemy either.

Thank you - have bookmarked it...and several other episodes :)
Here In Alabama (USA) we’d call that hat a boggan- short for toboggan.
I like that!
My Canadian ex-husband insisted my similar hat is called a toque.
Would he be from Québec?
